This is a great set. The basic package contains 4, that's right 4 frets! The frets are very neat in appearance with sharp, well defined edges on all of the parts. Several different radars are included, so you can back date or up date the carrier of your choice. One nice thing about this set is that it also includes parts for the basic 20 aircraft that come with each kit. There are 6 pages of instructions included in the basic set and other instructions sheets are found in each fret of the bonus parts ( naval doors, carrier catwalks, and flotation baskets.) The instructions are ok for the most part with assembly sequence numbers that will make assembly of the SK2 radar and some of the other radars much easier for the beginner to figure out. Some of the photos look like copies of copies and are a little lacking in detail, but this does not detract from being able to figure it out.
Overall, I am very happy with this special set and would recommend it to anyone with a basic knowledge of installing photo etch parts.
