1/700 T-34/76 - (x5) 3D Printed - Red Army Legend
[T34/76-700]

The T-34 Medium Tank is by far the most famous Soviet weapon of the Great Patriotic War and has become a symbol of the Red Army’s desperate struggle against the Germans in that conflict. In 1941 it was the most advanced tank design in the world, heavier, better armored and better armed than anything the Germans had. Despite this and the fact that almost 1,000 of them were present on the front lines at the start of Operation Barbarossa, the T-34 was initially, like every other Soviet tank, swept aside in the opening phases of the German invasion. Soon after its inauspicious start, the T-34 began to appear in even larger numbers on the Eastern Front, and during the crucial battles around Stalingrad and at Kursk was almost the only tank in use with the Red Army. Although its sloped armor and long F-34 gun were clearly strengths, perhaps the main virtue of the T-34 was the speed with which it could be produced and indeed, some 35,467 were produced in all with nearly three T-34s built for every German tank in 1942-43! The T-34/76 was eventually phased out in favor of the up-gunned T-34/85 beginning in 1944. Although the T-34/76 was not the wonder-weapon of Soviet propaganda, it still deserves its place as one of the most famous weapons of the Second World War.

While photography of these little gems is a challenge for our equipment and limited skills, check out the well proportioned model including the positionable turret with crew hatches and F-34 gun; the main body with sloped armor, detailed chassis and even a tiny machine gun!

Although the surfaces are not perfectly smooth (3D printing is done in layers), the plastic used can be sanded and painted much the same way you would handle resin or styrene.

NOTE: While we currently maintain limited inventories of most items, some items may be "printed on demand", which usually requires 10-15 business days from order to shipment.
