1/700 Handley Page Halifax - (x2) 3D Printed
[Halifax-700]

Although not as fondly remembered as the Lancaster, the Handley Page Halifax shared the RAF's major night bombing offensive along with the 'Lanc'. In fact, it proved suitable for a much greater variety of roles including transport, ambulance, glider tug and maritime reconnaissance. Particularly with the service début of the Mark III variant in February of 1944, the Halifax hit full stride as a front-line heavy bomber capable of carrying the fight to the enemy. The Mk.IIIs played a prominent role in the attacks on the V-1 missile sites in 1944 and returned to daylight operations after the Allied landings on D-Day, attacking French marshalling yards, gun emplacements, strong points and troop concentrations.

This 2-piece set actually includes two different models - (1x) gear up, "in flight" model and (1x) with the landing gear down. Photography of these little gems is a challenge for our equipment and limited skills but check out the well proportioned models including the detailed canopy and glazed nose, the fuselage complete with windows and door, the dorsal and tail turrets, the twin-tail assembly and even the tiny tail wheel!

While the surfaces are not perfectly smooth (3D printing is done in layers), the plastic used can be sanded and painted much the same way you would handle resin or styrene.

NOTE: While we currently maintain limited inventories of most items, some items may be "printed on demand", which usually requires 10-15 business days from order to shipment.
