This 1/700 scale , waterline model of the USS Yorktown is as she appeared in 1940 - early 1941 with a big , black "Y" on her funnel. It has an expertly cast resin hull and flight deck by Corsair Armada, a beautiful and accurate 3D printed island designed by Model Monkey, numerous other 3D printed parts such as 1.1" quadruple mounts, 5"/38 mounts, aircraft outriggers and a full complement of ship's boats produced by Tom's Modelworks. Over 20 highly detailed BT-1, SBC, TBD, F3F and J2F aircraft designed by Northview Foundry are included along with a full set of colorful decals designed by Starfighter. The decal set includes the "Y" for the funnel and a complete set of deck markings. Tom's set 7114 for pre-war Yorktown carriers is also included.
