1/700 V-2 w/Hannomag SS-100 & Meillerwagen (x2)
[V2-700]

The V-2 ballistic missile (known to its designers as the A4) was the world's first operational liquid fuel rocket. It represented an enormous quantum leap in technology, financed by Nazi Germany in a huge development program that cost at least $2 billion in 1944 dollars. 6,084 V-2 missiles were built, 95% of them in the last seven months of World War II. As many as 3,225 of these 'vengeance weapons' were launched against Antwerp, London and other cities, and a further 1,000 to 1,750 were fired in tests and training. First fired Despite the scale of this effort, the inaccurate missile did not change the course of the war and proved to be an enormous waste of resources. Personnel and technology from the program formed the starting point for post-war rocketry development in America, Russia and France.

While photography of these little gems is a challenge for our equipment and limited skills, check out the details of the well proportioned model including the rocket with four stabilizing fins, the Hanomag SS-100 road tractor and the Meillerwagen transport trailer, one each in the lowered transport and partially erected, pre-loading positions. Comprehensive camouflage and color information is included.

Although the surfaces are not perfectly smooth (3D printing is done in layers), the plastic used can be sanded and painted much the same way you would handle resin or styrene. The models may still have some powder and oil-like agent on them that needs can be easily removed by washing in warm water with a drop of detergent added to it.

NOTE: While we currently maintain limited inventories of most items, some items may be "printed on demand", which usually requires 10-15 business days from order to shipment.
