1/700 Boeing F4B-4 (x4)
[F4b4-700]

Serving the US Navy at the end of the biplane era, the classic F4B was the star of the family of famous Boeing fighters which included the US Army Air Corps' P-12 and the export Model 100. The F4B had an amazingly long service life that saw F4Bs serving on American aircraft carriers from the early 1930's to as late as 1938 and in other shore-based capacities through the early 1940's. The last variant, the F4B-4 was supremely maneuverable and loved by all who flew it for its tractability and performance. 187 F4Bs of all variants were produced for the Navy.

While photography of these little gems is a challenge for our equipment and limited skills, check out the well proportioned model including the fuselage complete with the open cockpit and windscreen, the open cowling with a beautifully rendered radial engine; the wings with nicely scaled struts, the undercarriage and the tail assembly including the tiny tail wheel (not attempted on WEM's model!).

Although the surfaces are not perfectly smooth (3D printing is done in layers), the plastic used can be sanded and painted much the same way you would handle resin or styrene.

NOTE: We currently maintain limited inventories of most items, some items may be "printed on demand", which usually requires 10-15 business days from order to shipment.
